| The Aprisa SE went into production in 2001 and has been deployed extensively throughout the world. The product was targeted at narrowband applications with channel sizes from 25 kHz to 250 kHz. In 2003 4RF Communications launched a complimentary product series, the Aprisa XE, to serve wideband applications with higher capacities, more networking features, and channel sizes from 250 kHz to 14 MHz. Driven by customer demand Aprisa XE capabilities were extended to support narrowband applications and the channel sizes served by the Aprisa SE. Building on the success and strengths of its predecessor, the Aprisa XE quickly became the product of choice for both narrowband and wideband applications. As a result production of the Aprisa SE was phased out and eventually ceased in June 2006. It is no longer available for sale but continues to be supported along with Aprisa View (its Network Management System).
Users are encouraged to contact support@4rf.com with any queries or requests regarding training, link planning, repair, warranties, or technical support. All relevant product documentation will continue to be maintained and is available through the secure resource page on this website. |
