VSAT replacement
VSAT provides a relatively simple option for long distance communications: provided by a third party operator, capacity is usually rapidly available and it can provide connectivity to even the most rural locations. Can the Aprisa XE really reach remote locations?
We regularly deploy long links, some of which are up to 250 km; VSAT is not the only technology that can reach remote locations.
Does the Aprisa XE take much longer than VSAT to deploy?
While VSAT can be compelling where rapid deployment is needed, we have deployed Aprisa XE links in less than a day.
Is the management overhead much higher than VSAT?
Customers tell us that the benefits of owning, managing and controlling their own communications by far outweighs the minimal management overhead for their Aprisa XE links – which are very easily managed with our web-based SuperVisor application.
