All networks are different. The Aprisa SR takes account of this by enabling you to configure a number of detailed parameters to optimise your network, dependent on your network topology.
As well as the general network configurability supported by SuperVisor, you can configure a number of parameters that directly impact network efficiency, including:
- whether remote radios are polled by the base station, independently access the channel, or both
- channel access parameters including automatic back-off and re-try time for radios
- which part of the network operate at Layer 2 and which operate at Layer 3
